LERN Trauma® is a dynamic Trauma-Informed Care (TIC) presentation created and developed by Josh Delahan, LCSW. Josh has been studying and teaching trauma-related information and doing trauma-focused modalities since 2002. LERN Trauma® is a culmination of both the informational and hands-on aspects of doing TIC work. It goes beyond statistics and gets down to helpful definitions, eye-opening aspects of trauma, as well as ways that you and your staff can implement direct TIC techniques that are easy to learn and helpful for anyone struggling with the effects of psychological trauma. Each presentation is tailor-made to the hiring agency's audience and varies in length from two hours to multiple eight-hour sessions. There is a flat rate per-hour fee for each presentation and does not increase with the number of participants. (All printed materials are the responsibility of the hiring agency.)
